postheadericon Position of the head nurse (Peculiarities of national psychiatry, part 5)

I must say, to the great regret of the vast majority of employees, Orlov was transferred to another hospital. Natalya Sergeevna took senior nurse position without much enthusiasm. True, instead of the one that left this very post, not understanding the management style of the new head and slamming the door. Natalia did her job conscientiously, trying to justify the trust. And I didn’t think that she was not at all at court here, that she had a decent number of enemies and envious people, and that they took her to this position in order to “plug a hole”.

The “new manager”, Anton Valeryevich Kuskov, did not want to think that the head nurse should be his right hand. He had his own achievements, “faithful people”, and in general, he was either in charge of the psychiatric service, or was engaged in some of his own affairs. And in place of the eldest, I certainly didn’t want to see Natalya. Although he did not explicitly express this, and for 5 years they somehow somehow worked, if not in tandem, then still side by side.

The starting point was the meeting on the distribution of salaries for paid services. At the meeting, one decision was made, but in the planning department it turned out to be completely different. And a year later, Natalya Sergeevna spoke at the next such “gathering”. She said that not only doctors should receive money for the provision of paid services. It is clear that the doctor - a large part. But nurses and junior staff also take part in the services, and this must be paid. If Natalya had known that these middle and junior medical workers would betray her in a year, she would have kept silent.

The meeting was held without one doctor, Inga Igorevna, who was on vacation, and who had a special influence on Anton Valeryevich. Upon her return from vacation, of course, there was a terrible discontent. Inga Igorevna never hid her hatred for many women. In particular, to successful ones, and in particular, to Natalya Sergeevna.

At one not perfect moment, Kuskov said to Natalya: “On vacation, look for a job. Don't come out here." Shock, frustration and the decision to spit on the words of Anton Valeryevich. Especially not with work at all. “Let him leave if he has a personal dislike for me,” Natalya thought, and after the vacation the persecution began.
