postheadericon Methods and types of disinfection

What are the methods and types of disinfection and what is disinfection in general?

Disinfection (from des- - removal, destruction, infectio - infection) - a set of measures aimed at the destruction of pathogenic (pathogenic) and opportunistic microorganisms in the human environment.

During disinfection, only vegetative (growing and multiplying) forms of microorganisms are destroyed.

This is its difference from sterilization, in which spore forms are also destroyed.

The main types of disinfection:

  1. prophylactic - carried out in order to prevent the occurrence of nosocomial infection;
  2. focal:
  • current - carried out in the focus of infection, at the bedside of the patient - repeatedly;
  • final - performed after isolation, transfer to the infectious diseases department, discharge or death of the patient - once.

    Hello! Recently faced with the need to carry out a complete disinfection in our office. We employ almost 300 people, so the boss set the task of preventing the possible spread of harmful organisms and carefully monitoring the cleanliness of the surface. As a result of the analysis of the Internet ( http://www.dez-vesta.ru/uslugi/prodasha.html ), we found such means: Nika, Alaminol, Samarovka, Ecodez, Eco 50, etc. Can you tell me which tool to choose better, because the prices are different, but you don’t want to overpay?

      Hello Nastya.
      All disinfectants presented on the site you have provided are quite acceptable. But I would recommend "Samarovka" - from personal experience I can say that the disinfectant is of high quality, hazard class 4 (the danger of working solution vapors is poorly expressed), relatively budgetary. But the final choice, of course, is yours.

    Tetramine 1% exposure 30 min. Rinse with running cold water
