Stage IV of the nursing process

Implementation of the plan of nursing interventions, or stage 4 of the nursing process is defined as the implementation of the planned scope of actions aimed at achieving the set goals.

 

In order for the 4th stage of the nursing process to be carried out correctly, there are the following recommendations:

  • Follow the plan systematically.
  • Coordinate planned activities.
  • If circumstances change, the planned action may be canceled, if appropriate.
  • Pre-hospital nursing care is provided in accordance with the standards of nursing practice, taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient.
  • Carry out nursing manipulations according to existing algorithms (protocol of nursing manipulations).
  • The implementation of the care plan and nursing interventions are marked in nursing care cards.
